SPOT Satellite Personal Messenger - Sales
SPOT messangers/trackers are ideal for backpackers, travellers and outdoors adventurers.
SPOT V1 Satellite Personal Tracker
Because SPOT uses the satellite phone network to transmit its messages, it works where mobile phones don't. Help is now just a push button away!
SPOT is powered by AA lithium batteries that have a standby of approximately 12 months.
It is light and easy to transport with coverage in Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, and practically, all of the continental United States sections of South America, Northern Africa, and North Eastern Asia.
The system also has coverage in hundreds or thousands of miles offshore to these areas.
Key Features:
- Locate staff as they work remotely across Australia.
- Easily and efficiently manage routine daily checkins ('skeds') with no calling required. Staff simply press the OK button which will be recorded in the TracerTrak system and an alert raised if a 'sked' is missed.
- Set up pre-programmed messages for certain conditions and be notified by SMS or email if there is a situation to which you must respond.
- In critical life threatening conditions emergency assistance is available to your staff at their exact GPS location at the push of a button.
- Set up features such as geofencing to monitor your staff when entering or leaving specific areas.
- Opt in auto location update every 10 minutes (when subscribing to SPOT Tracking).
SPOT V2 Satellite Personal Tracker
SPOT V2 is the most recent version of the SPOT personal Tracking System.
Lighter and smaller than it's predecessor, SPOT V2 is ideal for backpackers, travellers and outdoors adventurers.

- Track your journey.
- Send friends and family an OK message and see where you were when you sent it using Google maps.
- Send a help message to people designated in your profile.
- Send an emergency message to let emergency services know that you need assistance. Your location is also transmitted with GPS accuracy.
